Сигарный ящик, смородиновое варенье, вкус чуть сладковатый, очень полный, чуть джемовый, сушеные черные ягоды, черемуха, черная смородина, чуть алкогольно, тонкие нюансы горькой апельсиновой цедры. Танины все еще чуть суховатые, послевкусие очень долгое. Держать. 17/20 (93/100)

Pour a glass and enjoy the evolution of the flavours every minute or so. Earth, leather, red dry fruits, spices, Tobacco, dark chocolate... The palette gets richer and richer. Intense, complex. The taste is infinite. Tannins are strong but noble as a King from a Tolkien's novel. Save some bucks and be happy. You deserve it. Gaja decides to break the rules blending Nebbiolo with Barbera grapes. Is it still a Barolo? My head says no, my heart says yes.
