We are batting .500 so far in purchases from our local organic wine shop. This one is fortunately a real treat. Imagine a tannin-rich Burgundy (if one existed) blended with a Cru Beaujolais. Floral, ripe strawberry, orange peel... bright acid, chewy tannins, but something that would appeal to those who like a semi-dry wine (just from smell, this doesn’t have any residual sugar). Hard to think of something this would not pair with.... we served it with a beef stir-fry, but it could handle everything from BBQ to salmon. Served chilled. This Vajra release reminds me of their high QPR Rosso that is readily available. Cannot wait to try those two together. This will absolutely be on our Thanksgiving table.

Much better than the bottle at Wine School! On the lighter side, less bold in color, a little like a Pinot. Red berries like strawberry & raspberry, touch of citrus as well. Smooth and no sharp alcohol, low tannins, touch of minerality. A nice wine for everyday dinners.

Wow what a nice surprise. Love Nebbiolo and this is a completely different take on the grape that I’m digging.

Nice nose- but really a bit sharp for me on the tongue. Chalky and just too young (?). Tasted at Parcelle Wine School @ Charlie Bird.

Bright cherry fruit with very zippy acidity/fizzy palate. Extremely cool wine that you should search out.

Light Nebbiolo with ferocious red cherry acidity. Great pizza wine that overdelivers. A must chill
