One of the best Crozes. Beefy, bloody and plump. Superb granitic expression on the nose and silky texture and superb pure red and black berry fruit. Gentle but substantive tannins. Needs air but so classy and so Crozes.

Fresh, bright and pure. Smoke, camphor, tart dark cherry juice, blood orange, touch of clove, mint and tobacco, with some more exotic red fruit on the backend. I’d characterize this as a light and quaffable wine, but one of exceptional balance and intrigue. One of the best Crozes I can remember.

I definitely agree with my purveyor. See Lyle Fass’ notes.
Granite flowers and animal funk/leather on the nose. A wine you could huff all evening.
The palate rewards with opulence, but never treacly, red/black fruits, granite, gentle tugging at your cheeks. I think it’s ready to go but some yrs. wouldn’t hurt. It lingers on your lips lonnnggg.
Deliciousness, craft, terroir.
Thanks @FassSelections.

Sight to swallow this rocks. I've always thought Syrah pours pretty and this has a graceful weight with less splash, more flow. Deep saturated purple violent with glowing hues, gliding slowly into ribbons.

Pretty to the eyes but prettier to the nose. I could smell this thing all day long. Feminine profile - blackberry, cherry, cedar perfumes, spiced cinnamon and nutmeg.

Elegant and Burgundian until the Syrah giveaways - olives, black marker, little bit chewy with a gravely granite finish.

N: Olive, a bit gamey, very dark berried, but light, forest, souis-bois, minerals. B. Pepper.
P: So well knit and alive, no heaviness, Granitic, small red/black berries. The man has a wonderful touch with Syrah.
Deliciously dry w just a touch of bitter finish…nice. Blackness, but not dense.
Lingers delicately. A great match for non-sauced proteins.30mins out and tannins poking their heads up. The “ color” on your(my) palate doesn’t veer into the red fruited. I dig. Game, olive, repeat.
I’ll have to be be patient with the others🤞
