Still hanging in there w/distinct bricking, offering dusty cherries & pomegranate mingled w/herbal spicy floral goodness. Fairly restrained nose, some earth, tar & leather - as it opened, secondary notes really came out. Thinned out on palate, still great acidity & freshness along w/grippy tannins. Not a ton of fruit - but still tasty. Might have missed optimum window on this, but still very enjoyable.

Nice barbaresco - tannins melted away, tobacco and tar in the taste - a little light taste, but a good bargain considering the price tag
