Mar 5th, 2017Got a killer deal on these magnums of Pelissero Barbaresco. Enjoying the 2011 vintage for early drinking yet will go the long haul if desired.

Dec 26th, 2015Began as chocolate covered cherry with a raisin-y note. Thought it was borderline oxidization, but it all came together in a silky, chocolate covered baked plum essence, guava, soy-citrus and old roses. Medium mouthfeel; creamy into silky, muscled tannins. Granite gravel, roasted, carmelized, red grapefruit, cranberry reduction, more sexiness than you can handle. Burgundian ending with tannins like smoke trailing for miles.
