Decanted for about nine hours. Fresh raspberries, cherries, and a bit of mushrooms. Very elegant. Full-bodied, but not quite as powerful as other Barolos I’ve had over the years.

Dec 23rd, 2024Definitely modern style. Big, surprisingly little bricking and a strong wall of tannin clamps down on the finish. Even after 3 hours open the tannins are firm and dominant. Best with rich food.
