Delicious. Medium bodied and fragrant. Pepper and hints of coffee only temporarily hide the slightly unripened blackberries and currants on the nose. On the palate it is fruit forward (blackberry and some raspberry) and beautifully balanced. Not too heavy on the tannins. It has a tart/short+ finish that makes you want the next sip. Go buy a case and impress your friends. Highly recommended!

Pepper, licorice and blackberry notes. Very nice a full. Chose it for pairing with a brisket but never made it to the table.
