Incredible nose of meat and tar. Changed in the glass as floral aromas emerged with time. Has a long life ahead of it.

Despite its age this still feels fresh and youthful. Lovely smooth tannins with plenty of fruit. A real delight and a wine that will get even better given a few more years.

Small, ripe, dirty strawberries. Grassy. Slightly tannic, great with arugula and asparagus.

Took a minute to get loose (I believe being at 7,000 feet prolongs this process) but oh my. Perfect punctuation mark on an evening I intended to go home early.
