Dark cherry on the nose. The palate struck me as tight or "unsharing;" I enjoy a more fruit forward Syrah with a lusher mouthfeel. The acidity struck me as a bit austere. Overall, a well made wine that is just not really my style. A quality I did enjoy was the nice lingering finish.
