This one shines bright with red cherry and raspberry notes leading a nose of blueberry and cassis as strawberry peeks through. The palate is silky and refined despite grainy tannins which amplify versus detract. Depth and intensity that is a dichotomy considering the fruited nose. Elegant, sinewy and serpentine. Scrumptious.

2019 vintage. Second vintage of the second label of the historic and 1st wave cult Napa cab Grace Family Vineyards. Versus the main effort/big gun, this has a bit more acidity/tannins but is only slightly less delicious. Old school Napa cabbage for sure but without prejudice and attempting to rally future generations to the cause. Tremendous concentration. Roughly a fourth of the price of Grace Family Vineyards Estate Napa Cab. 292 cases made and 100% Cab but weird-ass packaging. C'mon peeps. 10.09.24.
