Grace Hale
Brut Cuvée Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
This is a bone dry sparkling Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Showing limes, grapefruits, spices and black pepper.
Light to medium in body with high acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
A good food wine, or to sip on by the pool. Not bitter on the ending which I liked. A Good quality wine.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
13.5% alcohol by volume
84 points.
$18.

Pale gold; medium intensity aromas of lemon, lime, white grapefruit, white peach, gooseberry, grassiness, brioche, biscuit; dry, frothy mousse that dissipates quickly, then small, moderately persistent bubbles, high acid, medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus intensity flavors of lemon, lime, white grapefruit, white peach, gooseberry, grass, brioche, toast; very good, medium finish, complex and integrated flavors, surprised I enjoyed this as much as I did
