Jul 30th, 2024Nose is so crazy. Wow. Insane. This is a reserve because it’s only 500 liters and 15 HL/ha. Crazy nose florals. Yellow flowers. Daisies. Lay in a wild grassland and all these flowers are blooming around you. Sweet flowers from acacia. Resinous. Beginning of the acacia flower cycle. Influenced by the stockinger barrel as well. Palate is opulent yet is refined because of the stockinger barrels. So playful versus how it was this summer. Floral palate and yellow fruits. Huge acid and high ripe acid driven tropical fruits. Wild mint and herbal. Herbal. Wild herbs and green sweetness. Very vibrant and chiseled. Used to be Arnold in the 70’s and now it’s Brad Pitt in Fight Club. Super nose and very long. You can drink now but only shows 30% of potential but will last forever.

Nose: finely dusted slate. White flowers.
Palate: so fine. So elegant. Almost puligny like. Perfect balance. Acidity. Minerals. Perfect lemon. Not sweet but not acidic. Delicious but in an elegant way. Not a bowl you over wine.
