Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

2018 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 2.5 hours. It’s easily been a decade+ since tasting their entry level stuff. Medium/medium heavy body. A bit riper than expected. Haven’t come across those levels of ripeness on their higher end stuff in the last few years. Can see why some would absolutely love this tho. Missing structure that usually accompanies Hall reds. For such a big *ss vintage, thought there would be mas. Sadly, no. 11.7.24.

Nice wine, just ripe. Smooth tannins, cherries and a hint of sweetness.

Very nice wine. Dark fruit with tabaco and some spice mixed with dark chocolate. Well balanced oak and acid with medium to long finish.

Nariz: mora, ciruela, cereza, cassis, cacao, vainilla, algo de especies y tierra

Boca: Tanino M/M+, Acidez M, Alcohol M+

3/2023. A good Napa cab. Fruit and nice on the palate. Nice finish.

Hall’s Chophouse

Nice wine with lovely aroma . Easy to drink with soft tannins and a nice light oak flavor . Full bodied and a superb wine well worth the price point . $59

Smooth Cabernet, medium tannins, nice finish. Paired well with a prime rib steak. Priced right for a Cabernet.

Cinnamon. Cassis. Really good

First time in a while that I tasted blueberry with smoky flavors on the mid to back palate. Served a bit too chilled for me but came alive more later.

Tried this at Eddie V’s for my birthday dinner and loved it. There is good spice after finish with every sip.
