Hanzell Vineyards
Sebella Sonoma County Chardonnay

Fantastic. Very refreshing, zesty acidity. Fruity (from young vines) but very fresh and alive. Atypically Californian - but from one of California's historic Chardonnay producers.

Tropical notes and sea salted caramel. Lovely mineral finish. Easy to confuse it with Chablis.

One of my favorite domestic AVA’s. But never had a white from there. Don’t care for Cali chards but this one was drinkable

Lightly oaked with a round fruit, dry without being fussy.

This is outstanding! No where near your typical California Chardonnay. Crisp, acidic with grapefruit on the nose. I thought at first I had been served a Sauvignon Blanc. Reminds me of summer at the beach. I am very impressed with the Hanzell wines!
