Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium plus intensity.
Pretty nose with red and blue fruits, light oak, herbs, licorice, chocolates and spices.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, plums, red currants, earth, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.
Long tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very interesting Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Not the typical Napa Cabernet. Very unique, spicy and tangy.
Soft and elegant on the palate, with nice complexity.
A good quality wine. Still young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 7 years.
Good right out of the bottle and much better after an hour to open up properly.
The high alcohol is not very noticeable at this point.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. I paired it with cheeses and crackers.
