Plum. Leather, a whiff of butterscotch. Great balance and some blue flower notes. Fading a bit but very good

Rich, lively.

1977 Martha's. Funky bottle. Really dirty aromas of earth and such. Fun to share but not the best bottle

1977. Floored by extreme caramel note on nose and palate completely backed up by gorgeous purity of fruit, acid, levity and all the tertiary elements that make Martha's Vyd what it is.

1977. Very nice and powerful. Great spice, licorice and supple powerful finish.

Awesome old Heitz in perfect condition. Eucalyptus, cedar, blue fruits and smoke and combined to finesse this wine into something magical. Old Napa is pretty special.
