fun higher acid red wine for the summer, it always expresses flavors from what you would expect from a white wine. the 2014 has huge aromatics and finishes with key lime. nothing serious here just summer sipper

May 30th, 2016Vibrant cranberry, ruby red. Looks like cherry hard candy. Consistent concentration. Aromatic, fresh red fruit, strawberry, red cherry, mineral (talc). Light body, medium acid, light astringency, medium alcohol does not go unnoticed and warms the belly 12.5%. Balanced, medium finish, cherry dominant with a notable bite of amaro. Refreshing!

100% Grignolino
Bright cranberry color. Clear and youthful.
Enticing aromas of freshly crushed raspberry, strawberry, cranberry. Violet, rose petal, with some orange zest sprinkled on top.
Structurally robust. Dusty tannin, med plus acidity, med bodied, and dry. Blueberry, raspberry, lavender backed up with good doses of nutmeg, and cinnamon stick. Finish long on the notes of blue fruits and flowers
This drinks almost like an expressive Dolcetto, which is not surprising given its Italian heritage. Superb summer juice. 89.

Raspberry, cassis, rose petal, Santa Rosa plum, fresh red cherries, with incredible balance between fruit & acidity. Gorgeously aromatic and quaffable. Stunner.
