La Côte des Monts Damnés Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

Solid Sancerre with nice acid.

Deep apricot aroma, nice balance, light, slightly sweet, pairs well with seafood and meals prepared with sour/acidic sauces.

This is such a pure focused wine with green tones up front along with fresh vibrant tropical fruits that jump but are on a leash. Mineral and white grapefruit rind mid-palate . Clean refreshing finish, worth its price tag which is around $34. This is the 2016 vintage.

Good but too much apricot flavor.
