47 Cab/27 Syrah/20 Petite Sirah/6 Petite Verdot. Been a couple years since I had the 12. Let it sit for 4 hours open, no decanter. Boozy but beautiful. This wine doesn’t wait to be invited in, it just comes on in. Imagine if cousin Eddie was classy. 😂

Exactly what you would expect Russell to do with Cabernet. (Fruit) Bombs away!

This wine needs to be the official state of wine of my beloved Maine! Incredible nose. Totally intoxicating. Like fresh blueberry pie. The palate is similar with clove and blackberry mixed with blueberry. A touch more complexity on palate would have pushed this over the top. Firm and structured tannins. Would love to see what 5 years brings from this bottle. From what I can tell, this is only second vintage.

Very well balanced wine.

Ripe red fruits. Some green pepper. Menthol or eucalyptus. A little young still. Will try again in a couple years

Big and jammy. High alcohol but doesn't get in the way. I get the oak and licorice notes along with spice and fruit fruit fruit. Nice but a little over the top.
