M+ intensity, strawberry, cherry, tart fruit, and rhubarb. Pepper. M acid. M- tannin. Needs a little time.

2012 Vintage. Not as strong tannin as I expected. Showing some age. Ripe fruit, red cherry, medium tannin, medium acid, medium+ alcohol and medium body. Some forest floor and chocolate. Dry with maybe some residual sugar. Ruby with garnet rim variation. Good complexity and medium long finish. I like this wine. It would be even better if the acid level is a bit higher. Enjoyed it a lot at a good friend’s place.
