Classic cool-climate restraint on the nose and palette. Soft notes of underripe cherries and olives present on the mid palette. Worked well with my nosh, but didn’t sweep me off my feet.

Blend of Cab Franc, Cab Sauvignon, and Merlot by Andrew Will from some of Washington’s best vineyards. The voluptuous fruit shows plum and rich cherry with a bit of cigar wrapper. Tannins are a bit harsh, but lush fruit evens it out. Excellent QPR and weekday. wine.2016 vintage on Aug 18, 2018
