Masterful presentation of 100% Sangiovese. Fantastic even from a so-so vintage. Bright cherry, tobacco, some menthol, sage....finishing loooooong.

Game meat, blood. Serious wine. Fresh, orange peel, sage, softly textured but focussed. Lively acidity. Powerful, cacao, mon cheri. Very fine and balanced.
