Nov 28th, 2024Yes, please, to this developing wine with notes of fresh blackberry, plum, tart black cherry, violet, black licorice anise, sambuca, fennel, cedar, nutmeg, cinnamon, cedar, sweet tobacco, and clove. 100% Sangiovese from Tuscany.
Acidity, alcohol, tannins are strong! Solid structure; wish we’d held on for longer. Still lovely now though.

Aug 20th, 2022Too young, but all the elements are there. Dark ruby. All acid and tannin, with fruit struggling to express itself until the steak arrived, then things changed. Plum, sage, herbs, and some coffee notes. Needs lots of time.
