Blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec, and 2% Saint Macaire aged 19 months in 100% new French oak. Malbec adds structure and Saint-Macaire adds a savory character. Ruby with bright purple hues, aromas of black fruits, spice and hints of sweetness. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and currants with licorice, cacao, slighty floral and savory herbs. Fine tannins, still a bit tight, long finish ending with fruit, spice and savory mineral character.
