Jun 15th, 2019What a difference a day makes. Scored this wine an incredible 9.5 three years ago. Now I can only give it a 8.9 at best. I couldn’t get over the oak that kept overruling any kind of fruit that I think was hiding somewhere. After 3 hours of decanting it gained a bit more complexity but still far off the previous mark.

Jack does not disappoint! Full bodied, bold Napa Cab with mild tannins. Definitely give it at least 30 minutes to an hour to open up! Still has some cellar time left. 2010 vintage!

In celebration of the Masters, even tho Spieth did not win. Great wine that seems to have some aging potential.

Apr 11th, 2016This was no Wednesday evening wine! It was top of the night, steak dinner super night wine!! Dry, dry, dry but it took you on an incredible journey. Phenomenal finish.
