A tad more developed in color and less expressive on the palate than the 2005 had next to it, this is another great example of Chardonnay from Jura.
These wines should provide enjoyment and easily last for another 15+ years.

2006, Jean Bourdy, Cotes Du Jura Blanc Chardonnay. Very dark gold color, baked apple with lots of secondary, oxidized flavors. My style of wine, rustic and an excellent food wine.

Good French Chardonnay. It was a unique style...good amount of acid and subtle crisp fruit, but more oak than I am accustomed to from Burgundy. Opened up nicely and great with grilled salmon.
