Jean-Claude Debeaune
Chateau des Deduits Fleurie Gamay
For over 40 years Georges Duboeuf has been the Beaujolais region's most renowned négociant and is today regarded in the wine world as the "King of Beaujolais,” “Fleurie is Queen." Medium Ruby with red fruit aromas and pepper notes. On the palate cherry, lychee, currants and bits of banana flavors with espresso, oak and vanilla, soft tannins on smooth medium+ finish. Good balance, drink now! Nice value! Tasting Sample.

Nov 29th, 2019Fresh, bright, raspberry, blueberry and vanilla. Nice light wine with beautiful light red color. I smell a petting zoo. It has notes if hay and dirt on the nose.

Jul 4th, 2018Not complex. One dimensional but enjoyable. Cherries and vanilla nothing more. Cough drops without the cough.

Jul 4th, 2018Had this last night. A very fun wine, especially with the weather. I have really been loving some of the Beaujolais that I have had recently (sadly not in delectable). I think these wines have more structure and finesse than many give them credit for. Definitely enjoyable, more enjoyable to me than an over extracted Pinot noir from the new world, and it has that lightness in a red wine that I was looking for.
