Les Darons Languedoc Grenache Blend

GCS fermented and aged in concrete. Nice black and blue fruit, balanced extraction, structure and acidity, and overall focus. Excellent quality at this price.

Very nice. Intensely minerally nose with a smoky note over dark blackberry skins. Soft and mouthfilling, with pure dark blackberry fruit and a nice stony component. Not a lot of tannin. And for this region it's actually nicely light on its feet.

Nose of violets, blackberry jam and cherry. Notes of blue and black berries and pepper on nose. Great complexity at a great price. #QPR

Reminds me of The Pundit. Vivid lilac, orange peel, and some funk. Rocks and spice help drive home the red fruit. A value if there ever was one.

Drinking very well, deep garnet with little signs of bottle age on the appearance. Medium plus body, medium acidity and long finish. Very aromatic. Notes of blackberry, blueberry and metallic. Beautifully balanced.

Awesome Friday night wine. 60% Grenache, 25% Carignan, 15% Syrah. Aged in concrete tanks, ripe, fruit nose with spice and minerality. Delicious.
