Les Darons Languedoc Grenache Blend

Nice, inexpensive weeknight wine. I grilled some garden veggies and skirt steak, and this was good with it. Dark purple. Little tannic on its own, but with food it was really good. Lots of black fruit here. Little forest floor and a bit of herbs.

70% Grenache; 30% Syrah

Drank with Laura with pizza. Very very good!

Gained depth w air, more fruit than earth but nice long finish

Tried this from Calvert Woodley’s “90+ under $20” rack. Solid but not characteristic.

Excelllent, surtout pour 16$ ! Pas trop doux ni corsé. Fruits noirs.
