Nose shows black raspberry and kirsch, along with pine needly underbrush. Great mouthcoating attack, with rich dark raspberry extract and a Chateauneuf-like iodiney minerality. Really good length.

This stuff coats your tongue in a good way, intense ripe fruit on the edge of strawberry jam without going over the top...very long finish. I don't normally enjoy Grenache driven wines, but this one delivers. A well made wine. A lot of life. Paired with pan seared herb chicken and roasted summer squash & zucchini and a chicken & onion pan sauce.

The 2012 is very tasty, and drinking very nice now.
