Still tasting great, young and juicy, should easily last another couple of decades+ in the bottle. Deep Ruby, dark fruits, spice, complex nose. On the palate juicy rich berry fruits, vanilla oak. well structured harmonious wine. Fine soft rich tannins, long finish ending with fruit, tobacco and sweet earthy tones. Wow!

Future tasting of the 13 Insignia. Super bright fresh fruit. Blackberries, creamy raspberries, blueberries, ollie berry, vanilla toasted barrel, crush rocks and nice mineral finish. Very fruit driven at this point. This will cellar a long time and be spectacular in 20 plus years.

This wine's silky, expressive mouthfeel gives way to wonderful dark fruits, light earth, and moderate spice with a medium tannin finish. Earlier vintages seemed more explosive in nature, hence may disappoint if you're expecting a big wine experience. Paired well with duck. Worth the high price to have on occasion.
