Very enjoyable Cabernet Sauvignon. Plenty of body and full flavoured with blackberries and cherries. Luckily, I have another bottle.

A friend of mine buys Josh Cellar’s Cabernet Sauvignon by the case and brings a bottle to parties as the host’s gift, and I have just now come around to appreciate his genius. Josh Cabernet is SOLID, this is exactly what any Cabernet grape fan is looking for without all the fru-fru of a $30 bottle. To all red wine lovers, it’s helpful when tasting to have a baseline at various levels, and Josh needs to be added to your list immediately to serve as the barometer between slightly-above and very-above average wines. With Josh Cabernet you’ll get a pleasant mouth feel, a delicate balance of tannins and acidity, and notes of both the dried fruits (think “trail mix”) and oaky-vanilla from barrels. With big thanks to my friend, I now highly recommend Josh Cellar’s Cabernet Sauvignon to anyone looking to be the party guest that your host will not forget.

This wine is wine. It’s okay, especially after drinking most of the bottle. I much prefer my Shiraz’s.

Blackberry, vanilla and some oak. Bold yet smooth.
