It was between this and something called “You Fuck My Wine,” which was a tough choice but I think I made the right decision. Have this extra light, naturally made gamay & chardo blend on a bit of a chill and it’s like licking a tart little cornucopia of red fruits.

Dec 5th, 2017Take a beautiful, lighter beaujolais and mix it with a marsannay-style burgundy body and this is what it could taste like. Super delicious, light. Put a slight chill on it and put a glass to drink outdoors and any day becomes early fall. Very, very nice. Guessing it’s a 2015 since the date isn’t on my label. None of the weird green pepper notes others had mentioned with earlier vintages.

Фиалка, ежевика, зелёная клубника, калина, можжевельник, прелая хвоя, каперсы. Свежо, сочно, мутновато в цвете и вкусе, с тонкой летучкой, лёгким телом, мягкими танинами и ягодной кислотностью. Ближе ко дну бутылки осадок добавляет жевкости и усиливает клюквенно-морсовый тон. Натурально, питко, без заморочек, но приятно.
