My favorite pinotage that comes through with the velvety red and dark fruits with that kiss of banana on the finish. While I appreciate the styles that lean more pinot than cinsault, this is, to me, the standard bearer for the grape.

How's these guys make a $275 pinotage. This isn't that one, this fetches $40 at dirty dans. Soy, slight leather, sandalwood, ripe plums, cherry & sweet cut grass. Medium plus body, okay length. Not bad

The 2020 was our first Pinotage. We approached this with trepidation based upon what we read about Pinotage. Alleged aromas of wet paint or petrol were alarming. Instead we sensed tart grape jelly. This was good but not great. A bit tart but still good.
