Dec 2nd, 2017Needs lots of air to soften the tannins and open up this wine, even after 9 years. Then, just wonderful. Juicy fruit, earth, and spice, sticky and lively.

Dec 3rd, 2022Over two years since last bottle. Been very slowly drinking this case. Intense raspberry nose. Still a good deal of fruit. Earthy with tea and berries. Tannins are integrated but still very prominent. Still has years and years to go.

Sep 16th, 2022I have to agree with my fellow drinkers of this wine. Baroloesque. Not sure if that is a word but you know what I mean. Slight tar, cherry, earth. Wasn’t what I expected. Very good.

Jun 16th, 2019Up front was all smoked cherries. Opened up to show some cola spice and a little sweet, toasty oak. Finished with even more red fruit and some licorice and herbal notes. Love Xinomavro. Love the precision of this wine.
