Kistler Vineyard Chardonnay

Expected more acid for an '11. Weak aromatics, kinda flabby, lots of oak. Classic mom wine.

Amazing. The acid on the '11s is fantastic. Burgundy lovers try this, it was change your opinion of CA Chardonnay

Great Wine but on a 95 degree day. I picked the wrong wine to serve with seafood! Served as a App! We never fixed the bottle! Go figure. Suggestions anyone! CB

Great Chardonnay from Kistler

Creamy vanilla and caramel and bananas foster all baked into a compote and then finished with a tart apple note that goes on and on. Doesn't get better.

Cool nose, has summer fruit, with something tart and sour. For me it was there on the palate - a little grapefruit. Nice stuff, lingers forever. But dare I say it, miss a little of the old Kistler oak? (At least a little??)

A little ichi sushi bc we ran out of sake

Excellent! Citrus with distinct coconut notes. Very nice finish.

This is not the Durrell Vineyard, this is the Kistler Vineyard. Awesome wine.
