Not as oak impacted as I recalled previous vintages. Very nice.

2010 vintage. Browned butter, spring water, high-meadow grasses in the nose. Judicious oak starting to give way to a subtle mineral component. One or two more years and this wine will be golden. Loving the body/texture right now though. Finishing with a red delicious apple flourish and a spicy kick.

Beautiful buttercup yellow appearance. A little simply on the nose w ripe Chardonnay fruit w oak background notes. Palate w highly textured with lots of obvious solids contact and having been minimally fined/filtered prior to bottling. Really quite long cc flavour, slightly warm aftertaste but delicious nonetheless.
