Amber Ridge Vineyard Syrah

Good, but beastly. I wasn't in the right frame of mind for this one.

Syrah with a New World cab sensibility very tasty but a bit one-dimensional

Oh yea I like this Syrah

Much more fruit then I anticipated. Good but not great. Stick with their Pinots.

Day 1: More Shiraz than Syrah, there is a lovely fruit profile, but not much else. Rating was a 9.

Day 2: fallen apart and disjointed. Showing a lot of heat on the nose and the finish. Also seeing a hint of spice and herbs, but the high alcohol is really overwhelming. Rating it 8.5 to average out to 8.7.

Kosta brown syrah

Good but there's a reason why Kosta Browne stopped making Syrah. They just do Pinot better.
