Kosta is one of our favorite Pinots. The 2008 has progressed well. Still very nice fruit and depth. Excellent wine.

Bone in pork chops on the grill; KB's big, luscious, umami, tart cherry, smoke. Not much fruit now, lots of savory flavors. Good match for the meal!

I was SO looking forward to this, and SO disappointed. Kind of flat, one note. Ripe fig and dirt (no, it had not turned), and some dried strawberry. A bit of an alcoholic burn, ABV 14.6. I was looking to be wowed, as I have been in the past w/ K-B, but this was not it. :-(
