Nose has grapefruit rind, green apple, under-ripe pineapple, wet slate, stainless steel shavings and under-ripe nectarine.
Palate has grapefruit, green apple, lemon zest, chiffonade cut sage, slate biased gravel, balanced acidity, medium finish and light sweetness. IMHO this bottle is still mostly closed up, note to future self, check these again 2022-23+.

Lean, racy, and mineral with excellent freshness. Crisp green apple and citrus with plenty of acid. Excellent with grilled shrimp.

Mar 5th, 2019A hot Labor Day 2018 in the Berkshires today, it was 94°F outside, but 83°F in my kitchen as I've been making BBQ sauce today. Now it's time for relaxing.
Nose of wet slate and faint petrol, greenish pineapple and green apple. Palate is crisp and lively, lemon, fresh sage, orange peel and medium minerality. More acidity than I've generally noted at bottles in this price point for 2016. We'll see how air improves this as the bottle warms, TBD on note updates.
