Color is startlingly advanced, but the wine is spot-on. Fragrant nose of sweet macerated cherries and floaty baking spices. Nice gravelly minerality notes underneath. Full flavored yet has a sense of balance. More on the savory side, with earthy dark cherry fruit taking a back seat to underbrush, minerals. Loads of soft tannin.!long finish. Very nicely done

Nov 2022. Medium to full bodied. Dry, subtly layered. Fine now with decant, but can last and improve. Probably to 2027 - 2030.

Pop and pour after 30 minutes of air; initial nose of funk; too much for my liking; re-corked; Day 2, completely different...beautiful nose of cherry, dark cherry, roses, herbs and spice; palate is light, beautiful, pure, cherry, minerals, dustiness; solid tannin structure and good acid; very enjoyable.
