Not sure what @Antonio Galloni is talking about in his recent score as this was classic, and deeply so, with wonderfully mature aromatics and palate. He must have had a few bad bottles, I brought this back from Italy a few years ago. Balsamic, more tertiary than primary and more dark red cherry and currant fruits, heady aromatics, lots to like here. Tannin are a little grainy but that's just being a little bit picky.

Really pretty. Fennel, black berry, truffle, earth, rustic, med tannin and nice acid. Drinking great now, but for me, would be nice to see the tannins soften a bit more.
