At first it tastes like a sock full of fruit scraps and metallic objects stuffed in a sock and smacked against your lips. But after you drink enough, and the wine had a chance to breathe, you think: "do they want me to applaud them for boldly declaring the 'OAK AGED' status of their wine? Should I be impressed?" The answer is yes for the former and no for the latter. Realizing that there was alcohol in this wine made it an OK choice. It's OK.

Nice nose to this wine. Oaky, full bodied and rich. Very tasty! Would recommend. (Use an aerator). TJ's cheap wine that tastes more expensive.
