7.5 hectare vineyard of 25 year old vines grown in marly, calareous, clay and sandy soil.
Stainless steel ferment followed by 8 months resting on the lees then 3 months of bottle ageing before release.
Giorgio Rivetti, owner of La Spinetta, considers Timorasso as the white Nebbiolo.
Will easily age 5-10 years.
Bright, brilliant straw gold.
Stone fruit, ripe nectarines, Acacia honey and white flowers.
Layers of flavours with tropical fruit, almonds and bergamot.
This wine dances a fine line between smooth texture, citrus, minerals and flowers.

Nov 11th, 2022Delectable has this grape misspelled. It is Timorasso. My first time with this grape. Reminds me a bit of Viognier, but with more acidity. Tropical fruit, pear, almond. Easy drinker. Fun!

Interesante. Corto el “spicy y pique” del curry.
