What to do with 2003's? This is a very good Barbaresco. It is showing in an extremely advanced state way beyond 14 years though. The typical floral, cherry & balsamico show with air, but there is a slight roasted quality to the fruit & somewhat rough, woody tannins persist. 2003 was a very hot year & this feels way further along than it should be. It does make me wonder about some of these recent hot Years around the world.
