Extremely dense with dark berries and tobacco. Really enjoyable ripe nose and mid palate. These wines tend to be high alcohol, 15+, and with time and air one notices it’s fraying on the edges — I’ve held this one too long.

Third bottle of 2006 I've had, this on my second anniversary. Love this every time I've had it. Very french, thick and juicy but with tannins that will break balls. Stephan had found a home in Paso.
