Shy at first but after 1+ hour in a decanter started to come around. Soft red cherry berry, violets, and mushroomy forest floor. Deelish with short rib ravioli

Old school northern Piemonte from old vines (many are 100 years old) grown on ancient super volcano. This wine is magic. No new wood, no modernista anything and as well- knot, alive, and exciting as can be. It is wise. I love this place (have been there) and this producer.❤️

Anniversary wine from champion! Very floral on the nose. Needs time to breathe for sure. Soft tannins. More tart than I expected for a nebbiolo. Best with food.

Cherry, hints licorice, leather, and strawberry on the nose.
Red fruits overall and nicely floral in a subtle way. Needed a decent amount of time to open up though (30-60 mins) otherwise way too acidic. Pretty round with its gripping tannins.
