Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Corvina Blend

A classic ripasso, the way they should be. Good 18 dollar entertaining wine.

Medium body and quite complex - not bad for a baby Amarone.

Nice Valpolicella...blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. Deep and full with dark cherry , leather , some pepper and lots of acidity. Would benefit from some time in a decanter but still lovely now with roasted meat, lamb or pasta. Good buy at under $20.

Dryer than most, earthy, not as viscous and juicy as others.

Medium body very very nice nose. Described as relatively austere to us by sommelier
