Traditional Northeast Italian blend of Rondinella (20%) Molinara (10%), Corvina (50%) and Corvinone (20%). Dark ruby color. Aromas of red cherry jam, cranberry, baking spices, Forrest Floor and red/purple flowers. Pallet is rich with flavors of cooked cherry fruit, red currants, baking spices, vanilla and black pepper spice. Relatively light in body style with lively acidity. Smooth tannins. It was the right call to drink this one young. Better on the second day. — 4 years ago
