This wine won the Trophy for Best Aged Vintage Red at the 2012 Sydney Royal Wine Show. Can't see it myself. Some hints of camphor/menthol and earthy nuances typical of Clare Cab Sauv. Youthful still at 10 years and Full bodied. A good wine but no Trophy. An improved showing 118 weeks later on 30 April 2018. A full bodied Clare Valley Cabernet where the black currant and other black fruits take over the leafy Cabernet Notes.
